Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Hello everyone! It’s Jessica here and I can’t believe we are only a week away from Thanksgiving! Even though I have almost all my Christmas shopping done, I still have a few things to finish for my daughter and finish up some quilts that I have started. I will share with you the projects as I get them finished over the next few weeks!

Last year we bought a real tree for Christmas and will continue to do so. We go to a tree farm nearby and we went the day after Thanksgiving (which we will do again this year).

Since our 21 month old daughter will definitely be interested in the Christmas tree this year and I have decided to get shatterproof ornaments and non-breakable items for our tree. I already made a garland out of paper circles last year that I sewed together and plan on using this year again. I have always wanted to make some felt balls and string them together to create a garland. Wellll….I tried this and made about 5 felt balls and realized it was going take a little longer than I thought. So I gave in and finally bought some strands from West Elm.

Don’t you hate when that happens? You think “Oh I will totally just DIY this project because it will be easy peasy” and it doesn’t go the way you thought it would? I may attempt this again if I have the time before Christmas.

Have a great day!
